The East Hampton and Portland Clean Energy Task Forces are organizing the Third Annual “Electric Car Show 2021” on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at the East Hampton High School at 15 North Maple St. from 12 noon to 3 pm (Rain Date is Sunday, September 26th). The show is part of the National Drive Electric Week program. Come join them as they showcase electric, hybrid, and alternative fuel cars from private owners and various dealerships.
The Clean Energy Task Forces are volunteer committees dedicated to promoting green energy alternatives in their towns. The event is being aided by the East Hampton Parks and Recreation Dept. which is helping in registrations.
The Task Forces are also inviting any town residents who own any electric, hybrid or alternative fuel vehicle to show off their clean energy machine too. There is no registration fee, but the deadline to register your vehicle for the show is Friday, September 17. Town residents are also invited to show off other electric vehicles too, not just cars – bikes, scooters or anything that moves are all welcome!
Registration is also open, at no charge, to any town groups, non-profits, associations or clubs interested in using less fossil fuel for vehicles. It’s a terrific way to let people know more about you while we all learn more about electric, hybrid, and alternative fuel vehicles and have some fun! We’ll have music and food, too.
All vehicle owners and booth registrants can register by contacting the East Hampton Recreation Dept. at easthamptonrec.com or by emailing the East Hampton Clean Energy Task Force at email@example.com or by calling 860-748-5165.
So, come on out, show off your vehicle or just do some green window-shopping with us and have some good “clean” fun!
Everyone come see these exciting clean energy machines up close, and join us for food and music.
