Electric Vehicle Registrations by City
The map above depicts EV registrations broken out by BEV and PHEV drivetrains for all 169 cities in the state. The definition of city is tax town. Smaller geographical units like census designated places are rolled into the city where they jurisdictionally belong. The size of the bubbles corresponds to the number of registered EVs and the size of the pie slices represents the drivetrain.

If you want to see the specific numbers for a city, make or model, including more detail for any of the static screenshots below, the dashboard is posted to the website here. Mousing over a bar or other chart icon will display any values not already displayed as part of the labeling. There are slicers on most pages to cross-filter the charts. Just check the box. Depress the control key to check multiple boxes. Scroll down to see the pagination. Click on the page number area to display the other pages that you can then navigate to.

Vehicle Make Within City
Here we look at the makeup of what makes residents are buying within each city. This is a good example of where going to the dashboard will more easily enable visualization of the values. There are too many makes for them all to be visible in the legend at the top, which is presented alphabetically and cuts off at Fisker. That bluish/purple shade that represents the largest section of most of the bars is obviously Tesla.
